Perliminary

The preliminary task consists of constructing a magazine cover which includes the codes and other common features, such as the positioning of the mast head and the central image. In this case I have chosen to create a magazine associated with exam stress relating to a specific target audience aged 14-19. In the process of assembling my magazine cover, I am going to use my IT skills and resources to explore the program of Photoshop. The requirements for this task would include a photograph of a student from Heston Community School in a medium close up shot, from which I will be including in my preliminary magazine. I will use this image on my front cover to express a student revising for his exams.
The target audience that I will be looking to target is going to be students in the age of 14-19 going through examinations periods like GCSE and A level. I will be using young bright images and keeping the text on the front page minimal.
In order to create an effective front cover I will need to carry out great research by taking a variety of different photos and creating different plans for how my page would look. Photoshop would be the key in the making of this magazine cover as by using Photoshop I will be able to create a more influential and professional looking magazine cover.
