In this piece of work I will be analyzing different types of fonts in order to show my understanding on creating a school magazine cover with the best effects possible. I will be discussing why each font is important and how it would have an impact on my school magazine cover.
This font above is a “simple” font that has great quality and shows the masthead clearly. This is a great font to use as it is clear and shows the decryptions without causing problems. With this font there are limitations that need to be considered as this font is plain and does not appeal as much as I would like. This font looks like a classic font that you find in newspapers and reviews.
The font above is a “fire” font that has a great and attractive look to it. This font is great to use as it creates great emotion and gives the title a real click to it. This font symbolizes many things such as power as the fire and the colours used creates great authority and also it would have a great impact on the magazine cover, making it look attractive and strong. This font looks modern and highly effective, as the fire flames give the font a more of an edge to it.
The font above is “Birth of a Hero”. This font also creates great awareness on the magazine cover as it is eye catching and looks more attractive with the letters having the theme of being wiped. This font is great to use as it looks simple but saying that it creates great awareness and goes great knowing that the genre used is a hip hop theme. This is a modern type of font as the writing has been modified and carries out great effect. Out of all the fonts this is the font that I think would influence the magazine cover the most, as this would fit great with the fact that my genre is hip hop and would go great with a white background.
The font used is “BachelorPadCollage” this is a great font to use as it makes the text on the magazine cover look more alive and more attractive. This font is great to use as the font style looks highly attractive and looks different to previous fonts. The points that make this font look different are not only the strong colour combination of black and white, but also the fact that the letters are written in different styles for example the “M” and the “C”. This font is a modern font as it is written in bubble writing and also because the letters are written in different fonts.
The font used is “balls on the rampage” this is a great and effective font to use as this font symbolizes great power and shows great attraction through the consistency with the dots used in the letters. This font creates great appearance and would have a great influence on the magazine cover. This font follows a modern font, as this fonts looks like something that the younger generation would use. The font looks masculine and shows great strength.
The font that is used is “Alien Glow”, this font is a effective and great font to use for a magazine cover. This font creates great emotion and shows great power, through the colour scheme used as the font is black and it has a green highlight. This would be a great font to use in the magazine cover as it would help to build great power and help contribute in making the title look more attractive. This font is modern as the letters are in modern font and the colours used would be used by the newer generation.
